Articulate Storyline Accessibility Testing video title slide

In 2022, NC Virtual received word that one of our middle school math courses did not meet the standards on a Quality Matters review due to accessibility issues with the Articulate Storyline Key Terms Interactive objects we developed and integrated into the course. I had specifically designed the template for those objects so that it was accessible and provided training for all Instructional Technology Specialists would built content on how to maintain that accessibility from one object to the next. The following two videos demonstrate how I was able to use the Mac VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers to successfully navigate through the learning objects using only keyboard controls. After sharing the following videos with the Quality Matters Review Team, they determined that the content was in fact accessible to screen readers.
